The IT Toolkit section of January’s Inbound Logistics magazine features my article about Molson Coors’ new route planning system. The case study examines how Molson Coors’ new delivery planning system taps routing, pallet building, and truck loading functionality to optimize shipment flow.

I have been a regular contributor to Inbound Logistics since 2011.

It’s official. I was introduced today as a contributing author to the Manufacturing Geek blog site.  I’ve actually been contributing to the site for more than a year, but recent changes to how Google values authorship has motivated the publisher to leverage the power of my name as an author. Google’s authorship “handshake” method, which shows photos next to results, gives credibility to search results that use the new system. In other words, Google authorship makes search results more human, and more likely to be clicked. It also gives the site’s SEO an important boost. For these reasons, B2B content strategy managers who rely on outside contributors should follow the Manufacturing Geek’s lead by giving authorship credit to their writers via Google+.
