In the mid-1990s, I wrote a number of feature articles for A-B Journal, including the examples below.

A-B Journal is known today as The Journal from Rockwell and Our Partners. Rockwell acquired Allen-Bradley several years ago. Even with the name change, the magazine’s purpose still remains to educate engineers about leading-edge automation products and services (from Rockwell Automation), as well as the complementary technology from the company’s strategic partners.

The data sheet I recently wrote for SRI International describes the organization's solar initiatives, including new solar technologies under development. The document also provides an excellent overview of how the non-profit research firm works with clients to develop and bring to market new solar solutions.

I was one of the contributors to the inagural issue of Start magazine, a publication that followed the Microsoft's products in the enterprise software space. I continued to write regularly for Start magazine throughout the late 1990s. Below are several examples of the features I wrote for Start.

I've talked a lot about the value Google and other search engines place on fresh, quality content, especially on corporate Web sites and blogs. One company that fully embraces this philosophy is Underwriter's Laboratories (UL). Over the past two years, I've written dozens of informational features for UL's Web site, which were designed to provide topical and timely information to their customer base. Below are links to many of those articles:

Converting Existing Products to Functional Safety

Driving Functional Safety in Motor Drives

Europe Extends the Transition to EN ISO 13849-1

Integrating Functional Safety Across the Supply Chain

Over the past several years, I've written more than a dozen case studies for The American Education Corporation (AEC). I've mentioned a few of these projects in previous posts. In this post, I'm featuring a number of examples to showcase the wide range of uses for the company's sophisticated courseware program, including credit recovery, alternative learning, college readiness, etc. By developing a deep pool of case studies, the company is ready to leverage PR opportunities while building out its Web site content.

Click on the links below to read examples of the case studies I've written for AEC.
