An article of mine on research & development in a nonprofit biosciences environment will appear in an upcoming issue of Drug Discovery & Development magazine. This is the second article that I’ve ghostwritten for this client, a leading Silicon Valley-based independent R&D organization that conducts client-sponsored research and development for government agencies, businesses, foundations, and other organizations.
My article on Lifecycle Alarm Management appears in the June issue of Automation World. The article talks about how understanding the problem of alarm management begins with a sense of the alarm's sounds. The article appears in the Automation Team department of the magazine.
The Functional Safety News, a source for functional safety standards and performance requirements, sponsored by UL and published by Automation World, features my ghostwriting work. The June issue is the first in a series of UL e-newsletters that are planned for 2010.
Functional safety is a topic I've covered for nearly 20 years. I've served as a ghostwriter for a supplier of functional safety equipment, a leader in machine safety and industrial automation, and for Underwriters Laboratories.
I've recently ghostwritten a feature for Twins Magazine for a client involved in health science research. The article discusses how the study of twins has uncovered clues as to why people stop smoking. The 1,000-word feature is expected to appear in a summer issue of the magazine. I'm also ghostwriting several other features for this client, which operates a world-renown research institute in California.
